Vaughan Alden Bass, Louis F. Dow Co., 1954 Technically this is a Gil Elvgren pin-up that has likely been “overpainted” by Vaughan Bass, something he was hired to do by the Louis F. Dow Co. when Elvgren left to work for competitor Brown & Bigelow. The original Elvgren pin-up was titled No Stares.
