This may have been one of the last pin-up ink blotters printed as I have not seen any from 1972 or later. Ball point pens were so prevalent by then that the need for ink blotters, other than when using fountain pens as an art form or novelty, was essentially gone. I wonder how many of these were printed by Brown & Bigelow? My guess is quite a few less than in the 1950s and 1960s.
